Shipping, Furniture and Car Moving Company from Riyadh to Qatar 0506688227 Do Not Pay for Distance That Is Not There
Guide summary

Shipping, furniture and car moving from Riyadh to Qatar via the Salwa crossing into Abu Samra. Two facts govern this lane. Qatar is a compact country: Abu Samra to Doha is ninety kilometres and the furthest point is under a hundred and eighty — so the inland transport line should be nominal rather than principal, and anyone inflating it is selling you a distance never covered. The second is that vehicles are restricted to five years of age with GCC conformity, so we verify your car's eligibility before pricing rather than after arrival. This guide covers kitchen dismantling with numbered screw bags, moving air conditioners with a refrigerant pump-down, furniture and office prices, and the duty exemption.

Looking for a shipping company from Riyadh to Qatar that does not charge you for distance that is not there? Tiger Cargo Express ships from Riyadh to Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Al Khor and the other cities via the Salwa crossing on the Saudi side and Abu Samra on the Qatari side. To book: 0506688227

This lane differs from every other Gulf route in one respect: Qatar is a compact country. Abu Samra to Doha is ninety kilometres, and the furthest point in the country is under a hundred and eighty.

Which means the “inland transport” line here should be nominal rather than principal. If you see a large figure beside it in your quote, ask why — because you may be paying for a distance that is never covered.

Qatar is a compact country — and why that matters on your invoice

The most important section in this guide, and one you will not find elsewhere.

When we wrote about shipping from Riyadh to the UAE our theme was the exact opposite: there the inland distance after the crossing reaches five hundred kilometres, and the gap between Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah is a full day and hundreds of kilometres — so we argued for a time and price per emirate.

Here the rule inverts. The whole of Qatar is smaller than the inland leg inside the UAE alone. Delivery to Doha, Al Wakrah or Al Khor differs little — and anyone pricing them as though they were far apart is selling you something that does not exist.

The inland distance in Qatar — Abu Samra to Doha is ninety kilometres
Qatar is a compact country, so the inland transport line here is nominal rather than principal.
Qatari city Distance from Abu Samra Difference from Doha
Doha About 90 km
Al Wakrah About 75 km Slightly closer
Al Rayyan About 85 km Practically identical
Mesaieed About 110 km About 20 km
Lusail About 110 km About 20 km
Umm Salal About 105 km About 15 km
Al Khor and Al Dhakhira About 145 km About 55 km
Madinat ash Shamal About 180 km About 90 km
What to do with this table in practiceAsk every company to separate two figures: the cost of the run to Abu Samra, and the cost of inland delivery. The first is the real burden — nine hundred kilometres from Riyadh. The second is, in most cases, under a hundred kilometres. If you find the second close to the first, you are paying twice for one journey.

The one exception: Al Khor and Madinat ash Shamal in the far north. A real difference but a limited one — fifty-five to ninety kilometres. We state it honestly in the quote rather than inflating or ignoring it.

Car shipping from Riyadh to Qatar — and the condition that stops half of all consignments

An eligibility gate before any talk of price.

Before we ask about the carrier type or give you a figure, we ask one question: what is your car’s model year? Because Qatar requires that an imported vehicle be no more than five years old.

Car shipping from Riyadh to Qatar — verifying vehicle eligibility before pricing
A five-year age limit and GCC conformity — we verify before you pay rather than after it arrives.

Four conditions that decide whether your vehicle is accepted

Condition The detail What we ask you for
Vehicle age No more than five years from the model year The model year from the registration
GCC conformity A certificate of conformity to GCC standards The vehicle details and origin
Technical condition Vehicles damaged in major accidents or flooding are refused An honest description with photographs
Ownership In the importer’s name or under a power of attorney The registration and financier clearance
Why do we ask before we price?Because the order makes all the difference. A company that prices first takes your money, and then the car stands at the crossing because it is not eligible — returning it from there costs more than shipping it did, and insurance does not cover refusal of entry. We verify first and price afterwards. And if your car falls outside the condition we say so plainly and lose the job — which is cheaper for you and for us.

And an exception few know: classic vehicles over forty years old are treated as heritage items and imported under special permits. The rule targets middle-aged cars rather than genuinely old ones.

Plate cancellation and export formalities

1Financier clearanceIf the vehicle is financed, the debt is settled and a clearance issued.
2Plate cancellation via AbsherThe vehicle’s status is changed to ‘export’ in the system and the plates cancelled.
3The export certificateAn official document proving the vehicle has left the Saudi register.
4Photographic documentationWe photograph the vehicle from every angle before loading and give you the file.
5Crossing and clearanceIt crosses Salwa into Abu Samra, and Qatari duty is settled on the assessed value.
6DeliveryIn Doha or any Qatari city — and the distance is short, as you have seen.

Car shipping prices

Vehicle type Recommended carrier Price range Transit
Saloon and small cars Open, shared carrier SAR 1,400 – 2,200 2 to 4 days
Family SUV Open, shared carrier SAR 1,800 – 2,800 2 to 4 days
Luxury and sports Hydraulic low-loader SAR 2,800 – 4,500 2 to 3 days
Classic Dedicated enclosed carrier SAR 4,000 – 7,000 By arrangement
Non-running Hydraulic low-loader By condition After survey
Qatari duty on vehiclesCustoms duty is five per cent on the assessed customs value — not on what you paid. We give you an estimate alongside the shipping estimate, so you see both figures together before deciding.

Furniture moving from Riyadh to Qatar

A whole home from a Riyadh district to a Lusail tower — and the kitchen is the hardest part.

Furniture moving on this lane runs in four stages: a survey that establishes volume and a written price, then dismantling, wrapping and numbering at your home in Riyadh, then crossing Salwa on paperwork already filed, then delivery and reassembly in your new home.

Furniture moving from Riyadh to Qatar — dismantling the kitchen with every part numbered
Fitted kitchens are dismantled with every screw and hinge numbered, so they reassemble in Doha exactly as they were.

Fitted kitchens — the hardest item in the house

A bedroom is dismantled and rebuilt with ordinary experience. A fitted kitchen is another matter: wall units hung on a precise rail system, hinges adjusted individually on every door, worktop cut to the wall, and an extractor on a set duct line.

Every part numberedEach door, hinge and shelf carries its unit’s number — not the room’s.
The screw bagsEach unit’s screws in their own numbered bag, not in one shared box.
Photographed before dismantlingImages of the complete system before it comes apart — a visual reference at reassembly.
The worktop separatelyRemoved and crated in timber — a crack in it is replaced rather than repaired.
IKEA kitchensA different system from conventional units — needing a technician who knows it, not a general carpenter.
ReassemblyIn Doha in the exact order photographed — not by guesswork.
The question that reveals a serious companyAsk: how do you number the kitchen screws? Anyone answering ‘we collect them in a box’ has never rebuilt a fitted kitchen. Upper-unit screws are not lower-unit screws and neither are drawer screws, and mixing them means a unit that will not hold or a door that will not close. A numbered bag per unit is the difference between a working kitchen and one needing a new technician in Doha.

Moving air conditioners — a specialist service

A split unit is not a piece of furniture. Removing it requires pumping down the refrigerant and securing it inside the compressor before the pipes are cut — otherwise you lose the gas and damage the unit.

  • Pumping down the refrigerant with a dedicated device before disconnection
  • Sealing the pipes and keeping moisture out of them
  • Wrapping the indoor and outdoor units separately
  • Testing the electronics after installation in Doha
  • Recharging the gas and running a test before the team leaves

Furniture and household items we move

Category What it covers Handling
Bedrooms Bed, wardrobe, dresser, bedside units Full dismantling with separate numbered screw bags
Fitted kitchens Units, worktop, extractor, integrated appliances Photographed before dismantling, every unit numbered
Living rooms and majlis Sofas, tables, rugs, bookcases Felt then stretch film; heavy majlis sets need a team
Dining rooms Table, chairs, display cabinet, buffet Glass removed and wrapped with reinforced corners
Air conditioners Split, window and central units Refrigerant pumped down and secured before disconnection
Appliances Fridge, washer, screens Liquids drained and moving parts secured
Chandeliers and art Crystal, paintings, mirrors Parts removed and suspended in dedicated crates
Office furniture Desks, chairs, archives, servers Numbered by employee rather than by room

Furniture moving prices from Riyadh to Qatar

Home size Price range What it includes
Studio or single room SAR 1,500 – 2,400 Dismantling, wrapping, transport and reassembly
Two-bedroom flat SAR 2,400 – 3,900 The full door-to-door package
Three-bedroom flat SAR 3,700 – 5,600 The full package including clearance
Small villa SAR 5,400 – 8,400 Depending on room count and contents
Large villa SAR 8,000 – 13,000 May require more than one vehicle
Kitchen dismantling and reassembly SAR 500 – 1,500 By unit count and system type
Moving a split AC unit SAR 250 – 450 Including pump-down and recharge
External hoist SAR 400 – 1,200 Where needed — established at the survey
Why we itemise the kitchen and the AC separatelyBecause both are technical work rather than transport. The kitchen needs a technician who knows its system; the AC needs a refrigeration engineer with a pump-down device. Anyone folding them silently into an ‘all-inclusive package’ either does not actually provide them, or will ask for payment on loading day. Clarity in the line items protects you from the surprise.

Office furniture and company fit-outs

Item Price range Note
A full single workstation SAR 320 – 600 Including dismantling and wrapping the screen and computer
Meeting table SAR 750 – 1,300 Dismantled and wrapped with reinforced corners
Filing cabinet SAR 180 – 380 Per unit, emptied before lifting
Servers and IT equipment SAR 900 – 2,400 Timber crates and anti-static wrapping
A full office (10 staff) SAR 4,200 – 7,500 An all-in package with numbering and inventory
Numbering by employee rather than by roomIn an office move each piece carries the number of the desk it returns to rather than the room. So reassembly happens the next day instead of the team spending a week guessing — and your company gets back to work sooner, which is the real gain rather than the price difference.

Salwa and Abu Samra — the only land crossing

Nine hundred kilometres from Riyadh, then a single point that decides everything.

Salwa to Abu Samra — the only land crossing between Saudi Arabia and Qatar
A single crossing means all delay happens at one point — so we file the paperwork before the truck moves.

The shipment leaves Riyadh on the Al-Ahsa expressway toward Hofuf, then turns south-east to the Salwa crossing — around nine hundred kilometres. Facing it is Abu Samra on the Qatari side.

And this is the only crossing between the two countries by land. That is a practical fact rather than a geographical one: every possible delay happens at a single point, so preparing for it decides the whole journey.

The two systems that govern your crossing

Fasah — the Saudi sideThe platform on which the export declaration is filed. We upload the documents at least a day before the truck moves.
The GCC unified declarationThe Gulf system allowing both ends to be cleared on one file — provided it is complete and correctly classified.

For commercial shipments the declaration is completed at the Riyadh Dry Port before departure, so the truck reaches Salwa with its file ready rather than waiting to create it there.

One crossing means timing mattersWhere two crossings exist you can divert around congestion. Here there is no alternative — so peak seasons mean queues, and a truck arriving with incomplete paperwork waits twice: once in the queue and once to complete the document. We file on Fasah before departure, avoid the known peak windows, and only then load.

Four errors that hold shipments at Salwa

The error What happens How we avoid it
A generic description on the packing list A full manual inspection of the load We write the item, count and condition precisely
An incomplete declaration Creating it at the crossing takes hours We complete it at the Dry Port before departure
A vehicle whose plates were not cancelled It does not cross at all We confirm it on Absher before the loading date
An undeclared restricted item The whole shipment is held We review the contents with you before packing

Transit time from Riyadh to Qatar

Stage Estimated duration Note
Preparation and loading Half a day to a day Depending on shipment size
Riyadh to Salwa 10 to 14 hours Around 900 km via the Al-Ahsa road
Crossing and clearance 4 to 12 hours Depending on congestion and paperwork
Abu Samra to Doha One to two hours Ninety kilometres only
Total 2 to 4 days From loading to delivery and reassembly
Notice where the time actually goesThe long road run is near-constant, and the inland leg in Qatar is an hour. The real variable is the crossing — between four hours and twelve. And that is precisely what ready paperwork shortens, and what we control most tightly in our service.

Shipping methods from Riyadh to Qatar

Road freight — the basis

The truck loads at your district, crosses Salwa and delivers to the address. Transit is two to four days including reassembly.

  • Covers every size from a parcel to a full villa
  • Closed trailers protect against dust and road heat
  • A choice of full load or groupage
  • Door delivery across every Qatari city

Air freight

24 to 48 hours from King Khalid Airport to Hamad International once documents are complete. For small high-value parcels, samples, documents and urgent spare parts.

Sea freight — and when it is worth it

From King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam to Hamad Port. We recommend it only for large containers and construction projects — because road arrives in two days and sea adds port handling on an already short distance.

Criterion Road Air Sea
Transit 2 to 4 days 24 to 48 hours Longer, with handling
Cost The baseline Multiples For large containers

How to compare two quotes on this lane

Four questions — the first specific to Qatar.

1How much is the inland transport line in Qatar? The most important question here. The distance is under a hundred kilometres — so if you find a large figure beside it, ask why.
2Does the price include customs duty?Five per cent on the value of the goods or the vehicle. Ask for it stated explicitly: included or not.
3Are the kitchen and the AC units included? Two technical items deliberately left unmentioned and then charged on loading day. Ask about them by name.
4What would make the price change later? If the answer is ‘nothing’, ask for it in writing. If there is a condition, learn it now.
An example of the wrong comparisonA quote of SAR 2,100 ‘to Abu Samra’ looks cheaper than ours at 2,900 including delivery in Lusail and the kitchen dismantling. Add the inland leg, the dismantling and the duty and it becomes 3,300. The difference is not in the price but in what it measures — and we itemise our lines so you compare fairly rather than by the first figure.

Volumetric weight and the cubic metre

A truck runs out of room before it runs out of payload. So a bulky light box is charged on the space it occupied rather than what it weighs.

The formulaLength × width × height in centimetres ÷ 5000
Which figure applies? The higher of the two: what you weigh or what you occupy
Where your money goesInto the air inside your boxes, not into your goods

A carton measuring 60×40×40 holding eight kilograms is charged at nineteen. Eleven kilograms of air you paid for.

Know your figure before you call anyoneEnter your carton dimensions into the volumetric weight calculator, and your furniture volume into the container capacity calculator. Both free with no sign-up — so you negotiate from a stronger position.

Documents required

For furniture and personal effects

  • A copy of the sender’s national ID or residency permit
  • A copy of a valid passport
  • Full consignee details: name, phone, city and address
  • A packing list detailing each box with a precise description
  • A customs authorisation via the Fasah platform — we provide the form
  • Proof of Qatari residency to claim the exemption

For vehicles

  • Valid registration in the owner’s name
  • Financier clearance if the vehicle is financed
  • Proof of plate cancellation via Absher
  • The export certificate from the traffic department
  • The invoice or sale contract to establish value
  • Evidence of conformity to GCC standards

For commercial shipments

  • An attested commercial invoice with a precise description and a realistic value
  • A packing list with weights and dimensions per carton
  • A valid commercial registration
  • A tax number
  • A certificate of origin
  • The customs declaration from the Riyadh Dry Port
Duty exemption on used personal furnitureUsed household furniture is exempt from Qatari duty on the conditions of personal use and proof of residency in Qatar. The practical condition that costs the exemption more than any other is a vague packing list. ‘Household items’ pushes your shipment into commercial valuation — and we write it out in detail as part of the service.

Prohibited and restricted items

Absolutely prohibited

  • Narcotics and psychotropic substances in every form
  • Weapons and ammunition — including hunting arms and replicas
  • Alcoholic drinks of every kind
  • Tobacco and its derivatives within ordinary shipments
  • Material contrary to public morals
  • Counterfeit goods

Restricted — accepted with conditions and prior disclosure

Item Restriction The way round it
Perfumes and aerosols Flammable — prohibited by air By road with leak-proof packing and disclosure
Medicines Require an attested prescription Personal quantities with a prescription
Pesticides and chemicals Require an ingredients declaration and permit Prior disclosure and special arrangement
Electronic devices Declaration of value and quantity A clear invoice and an itemised list
Foodstuffs Health requirements A health certificate and sufficient shelf life
Drones Require a permit Prior disclosure and special arrangement
Pay particular attention to perfumesThe most commonly seized item on this lane is not something exotic but perfumes and aerosols — people tuck them among clothes assuming they are ordinary personal effects. They are flammable goods with transport requirements. Take them out of the boxes, tell us about them, and we ship them the correct way.

Packing and insurance

Padded feltThe layer touching the timber — it prevents scratching and abrasion.
Bubble wrapAbsorbs impact. Wrapped around the item itself, not the wall of the box.
Double-wall boardA doubled wall that takes the pressure when pieces are stacked.
Corner guardsThe corner is the first thing to break — and guarding it costs less than repairing it.
Outer stretch filmKeeps out dust, binds the layers, and resists Qatar’s coastal humidity.
Timber cratesFor worktops, chandeliers and screens above 55 inches.
  • Number parcels as 1 of 5 — it reveals a missing parcel at handover
  • Put both parties’ details and the city on every parcel
  • Keep parcels under 30 kg for easier handling
  • Separate perfumes and aerosols and tell us about them
  • Separate valuables and documents and carry them yourself

Insurance: basic cover is included on every shipment and covers loss and damage from transport incidents. Extended cover is optional on the declared value and recommended for vehicles and valuable pieces. What is not covered: pre-existing defects, poor packing by the sender, prohibited items — and refusal of entry for an ineligible vehicle, which is why we verify the conditions first.

Film your appliances runningBefore wrapping, take a short video of the screen on, the washer turning and the AC cooling. A photograph proves the appliance was intact in appearance; a video proves it was intact in function. Two minutes give you the strongest document you can hold if you ever need a claim.

Groupage or a full load

Criterion Groupage Full load
How it works You share the truck with other consignments The truck is yours alone
Pricing On your volume or weight only A fixed price for the truck
Transit May wait for consolidation Departs as soon as you are ready
Best for A small flat, parcels or pallets A full villa or a factory consignment
Break-even Under half a load From half a load upward
Ask about the departure date, not the price aloneGroupage is cheaper because the cost is divided. But some companies wait days for the truck to fill, at your expense. Ask: exactly when does it depart? We run departures on published dates rather than waiting for a full load.

Refrigerated freight — dates and medicines

Qatar is an active market for Saudi dates and medical products, and neither takes the heat of the road. We provide temperature-controlled trailers with a logging device.

Chilled2 to 8 degrees — for medicines and medical supplies.
FrozenDown to minus 18 — for meat and frozen goods.
The temperature reportA device logs the temperature throughout, and the report is handed over with the shipment.
Ask about the report, not the refrigerationEvery company says its trailer is refrigerated. The question that reveals the serious one: will you hand me a time-stamped temperature report? Without one, refrigeration is a claim rather than proof — and your Qatari consignee may ask you for it on receipt.

The reverse direction — from Qatar to Riyadh

The lane runs both ways through the same two crossings. We collect from Doha, Lusail, The Pearl and Al Wakrah and deliver across the Kingdom.

And those returning permanently to the Kingdom are exempt from duty on their personal effects on proof of prior residency and personal use. We help you prepare the papers that establish it.

Item Riyadh to Qatar Qatar to Riyadh
Transit 2 to 4 days 2 to 4 days
Crossing Salwa → Abu Samra Abu Samra → Salwa
Dominant traffic Furniture, vehicles and cargo Returnees’ furniture and products
Exemption On proof of residency in Qatar On proof of permanent return

How we work: five steps

1Contact usSend your shipment details, your Riyadh district and the delivery city in Qatar, and we reply within 60 minutes.
2Verification and surveyWe verify the vehicle’s eligibility if applicable, survey free at your district, and fix the price in writing.
3Paperwork prepared before loadingWe file on Fasah and complete the declaration at the Dry Port — before the truck moves.
4Dismantling, wrapping and numberingThe kitchen with numbered screw bags, the AC with a pump-down, and a number for every piece.
5Crossing, clearance and deliveryWe cross Salwa into Abu Samra, clear customs, and deliver with reassembly.

What we guarantee and what we do not

Verification before pricingWe do not price a vehicle before confirming the five-year condition and conformity.
A realistic inland transport figureThe distance is under a hundred kilometres — and our line reflects that.
Paperwork before loadingWe file on Fasah and complete the declaration before departure — not at the crossing.
Itemised linesThe kitchen, the AC and the clearance named explicitly rather than hidden inside ‘all-inclusive’.

What we do not guarantee, stated plainly: the crossing time at Salwa is not ours alone — there is one crossing and seasonal congestion happens. And our duty estimate is a judgement built on experience rather than a binding customs ruling. We guarantee to prepare everything within our control before departure, and to notify you immediately of any change.

How to reduce your shipping cost

Method Expected saving How
Review the inland transport line Can reach 20% The distance is short — do not pay much for it
Dismantle everything possible 20 to 35% A dismantled wardrobe takes a third of its volume
Work out your volume before calling Prevents an inflated quote Both calculators are free on our site
Choose groupage under half a load Up to 40% But ask about the departure date
Combine the car and the furniture 10 to 15% On one arrangement rather than two consignments
Book outside peak seasons 10 to 15% Summer and the school year’s end are highest

When do prices rise and transit lengthen?

  • The end and start of the school year — the family relocation season
  • Summer — the peak of relocation for residence in Qatar
  • The run-up to holidays — pressure on Salwa, which is the only crossing
  • Major events and tournaments in Doha — pressure on commercial freight
  • Official holidays — formalities at the crossing slow down

Five recurring mistakes — all of them avoidable

Accepting a high inland transport line in QatarAbu Samra to Doha is ninety kilometres. If you find the line close to the cost of the whole journey, ask why.
Shipping a car without checking its ageQatar requires a vehicle be no more than five years old. A car that arrives and cannot enter costs you more than shipping it did, and insurance does not cover it.
Assuming the kitchen is includedDismantling and rebuilding a fitted kitchen is separate technical work. Ask about it by name before you sign.
Putting perfumes among the clothesThe most commonly seized item on this lane. They are flammable goods with transport requirements — take them out and tell us.
Leaving the customs declaration until the crossingThere is one crossing and no alternative. A truck arriving without a ready declaration waits twice: in the queue and to create the file.

Why Tiger Cargo Express?

We do not sell you distance that isn’t thereQatar is compact, and the inland transport line in our quote reflects that honestly.
Eligibility verified before pricingWe tell you whether your car can enter before you pay — not after it reaches the crossing.
Kitchens with numbered screw bagsA bag per unit — the difference between a working kitchen and one needing a new technician.
Paperwork before departureWe complete the declaration at the Dry Port — and with one crossing, preparation decides the journey.
Itemised lines, not a vague ‘all-in’The kitchen, the AC and the clearance by name — so you compare fairly and know what you pay for.

Frequently asked questions about shipping from Riyadh to Qatar

How long does a shipment from Riyadh to Qatar take? Two to four days including reassembly. The road run is ten to fourteen hours, the crossing four to twelve, and Abu Samra to Doha only one to two hours.
Why do you say the inland transport line should be small?Because Qatar is a compact country. Abu Samra to Doha is ninety kilometres, and the furthest point is under a hundred and eighty. If you find this line close to the cost of the run from Riyadh, you are paying twice for one journey.
What is the vehicle age condition for import into Qatar? No more than five years from the model year, with a GCC conformity certificate and sound technical condition. Classics over forty years are exempted under special permits. We verify this before we price.
What if my car falls outside the age condition? We say so plainly and do not accept the shipment. A car that arrives and cannot enter costs you demurrage and a return leg dearer than the shipping — and insurance does not cover refusal of entry.
How much does moving a flat from Riyadh to Qatar cost?A two-bedroom flat is SAR 2,400 to 3,900 including dismantling, wrapping, transport and reassembly. The kitchen and the AC units are separate lines we name explicitly rather than hide.
Is dismantling and rebuilding the kitchen included in the price? We state it as a separate line between SAR 500 and 1,500 by unit count. Anyone folding it silently into an ‘all-inclusive package’ either does not provide it, or will ask for it on loading day.
How do you move air conditioners? With a refrigeration engineer who pumps down the refrigerant and secures it in the compressor before cutting the pipes, then reinstalls, recharges the gas and runs a test before the team leaves.
Which crossing does the shipment pass through? The Salwa crossing on the Saudi side into Abu Samra on the Qatari side — the only land crossing between the two countries. Riyadh to Salwa is around nine hundred kilometres via the Al-Ahsa road.
Is used furniture exempt from duty?Yes, on the conditions of personal use and proof of residency in Qatar. The practical condition is a detailed packing list rather than a generic description.
What is the Qatari customs duty?Five per cent on the assessed customs value of goods and vehicles. We state explicitly in the quote whether it is included or paid by the consignee.
Can perfumes be shipped?By road with leak-proof packing and prior disclosure. They are prohibited by air as flammable goods. And the most commonly seized item on this lane is perfume tucked among clothes without disclosure.
Do you deliver into towers and gated compounds?Yes — The Pearl, Lusail, West Bay and others. But tell us the tower in advance so we arrange the entry permit and a smaller vehicle if needed, rather than on delivery day.
What is the difference between groupage and a full load?In groupage you share the truck and pay only for your volume — cheaper under half a load. With a full load the truck is yours and departs as soon as you are ready. Always ask about the departure date in groupage.
Do you ship from Qatar to Riyadh?Yes, through the same two crossings. And those returning permanently are exempt from duty on personal effects on proof of prior residency.

In summary

Shipping from Riyadh to Qatar is governed by two facts you will not find on any other lane. The first is that Qatar is a compact country — so the inland transport line should be nominal, and anyone inflating it is selling you a distance never covered.

The second is that vehicles are restricted to five years of age — so the first question is not the price but whether your car is eligible at all.
